Built by a musician,not a marketplace.
Alan Milan has played more than 150 luxury weddings and built an audience of over two million people doing it. He also spent years watching good musicians lose work to worse ones.
The reason is structural. Google ranks whoever spends most on SEO. Instagram cannot be searched by city, by date or by instrument. The players worth hiring are usually the ones with the least time left over to market themselves.
So the roster stays small, and everyone on it has been auditioned and vouched for by someone inside this industry.
